Born in Vietnam and currently an Oaklander (along with my wife and dog), I have over 20 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area, most recently serving as Deputy Director at the Center for Independent Living, a disability services and advocacy agency in Berkeley. I received my BA in philosophy from USC and my JD from UC Davis. I am passionate about supporting and empowering disadvantaged segments of the community
