Ratha Chuon

Director of Programs

Brief info

Born in a refugee camp and raised in San Francisco, Ratha is a proud 1.5 generation Cambodian American and a total city girl. She's super dedicated to her community, with 20 years of solid experience under her belt, working with Southeast Asian and refugee groups in both the government and nonprofit sectors. Ratha's a pro at community building, leadership and management, and she's all about embracing and uplifting diverse and underserved folks. She's got a BA in Asian American Studies and a master’s in public administration, specializing in public management. When she's not making a difference, you might catch her volunteering, globetrotting, or getting lost in her sketches of the next Khmer-inspired fashion—all while grooving to some kantreum tunes.
